Grey Market AC? - ThreePoints

A friend of mine has and old Mercedes of some sort, in his lot. He's says he'll give it to me cheap,l but that it's got no AC. Radio is old too. Any one got a clue on the cost on both of these? He want's $4,000 for it, but if I have to sink half that into ac and cd player updating it doesn't seem worth it.

What year and what body style. Has duct work for the heater I assume?
