My steering in my w219 has always been stiff and not as light as it should be ever since i had the engine removed by the cowboy garage a year ago.
Today i decided it may have a air lock so i went out jacked up the front and moved the steering from left lock to right. It got lighter and then all of a sudden the fluid pee'd out of a pipe that connect to the front of the car. (wasnt secured in place). Alot came out, probably all of it. The fluid was dark red ish, brown. So my question is 1. have i done any damage? after i saw the fluid come out i shut off the engine after 2 mins maximum. 2. What fluid do i use to top it back up and the price. Ive popped onto WIS and it says this 'BB00.40-P-0345-00A' But when i google this nothing comes up 3. How do i fill it up? simply fill it to the marker from the reservoir? ____________________________________ mercedes sprinter engines |
