If there is anyone on the west coast of Canada on this web site and has a 126 or a 123 between the years of 1982 to 1985 in fairly good or better condition....I just might be a buyer!
Better yet....I am a buyer.

Hey Dan, I have an 86 SDL that I imported from SouCal two yrs. ago Wife has said 3 Mercs are one too many one has to go.

Very good condition overall, runs like a champ, has a couple of "needs" but just straight part replacement only.

What are the issues with the merc? ...All of them please.
What parts are to be replaced?
Whats the millage and do you have any written history on the maintenance it received?

I am interested.
I just need to look at what kind of inspection BC has on new arrivals from other provinces.
Do you have the millage on hand?
And my last question is, is it a 5 cyl or 6 cyl turbo diesel. Because in 1986 Mercedes were in the process of replacing the 5 cyl .

Hi Dan, The engine is the 6 cyl, Turbo Diesel and the mileage is at 292730 mi.

Dan, I don't have records for the car, I paid $3000 in Jan.08 and transported it to the Canadian border and after Customs drove it home. That trip was a treat, who would of thought a 1986 vehicle would ride almost like a new car.
