Oil in the Gulf - ThreePoints

Any one on the gulf coast been affected yet? I'm supposed to be vacationing on South Padre this year, but am starting to get worried as it doesn't seem like they are going to be able to stop it for some time.

I have family in Louisiana and they say it's a mess. I'm pretty sure none of them have seen it, but the second hand accounts are running there way through the rumor mill.

I noticed the national news is starting to not mention it as much as they did, but the problem is as bad as it has been. Then I found this.

Starting to wear on the nation's psyche. Was at my wife's family gathering and living 3 hours from the Coast it was a topic of discussion throughout the day by everyone, even people who never discuss politics/debate issues.
